This is what low-maintenance colour is all about. ✨
This guest hasn’t had foils in over 4 months. Today, we simply refreshed her tone, treated her hair, and gave it a fresh cut.
When colour is placed intentionally, you don’t need to feel tied to frequent appointments. It grows out softly and still looks beautiful between visits.

I am very intentional about the products I bring into Udaya Salon 💜
If something is going onto my shelves, it’s because I’ve taken the time to use it consistently myself first, not just once or twice, but long enough to genuinely form an opinion on it.
I’ve been using the K18 Triple Bright line for a little over a month now, and it’s become one of those products I keep reaching for naturally.
I’m usually pretty cautious when it comes to purple shampoos, because lots of them can leave hair feeling dry or overly stripped, but this one feels different. My hair still feels soft, healthy, and manageable while keeping the tone brighter and cleaner in between appointments.
I’ll never push a product I can’t genuinely stand behind. Selling product just for the sake of selling product has never felt right to me. This one far surpassed my expectations, and truly earned its place on my shelves ✨

Udaya Salon has been through 6 years of ups, downs, and everything in between.
From building my dream salon during a time when starting a business felt especially scary and uncertain, to packing it up, moving it and rebuilding it all over again…this journey has been anything but easy.
To every client who has sat in my chair and shared their stories, to every person who has supported my salon by following, sharing, liking, commenting, tagging me or booking with me, thank you. None of this would be possible without you.
And to my parents, thank you will never feel like enough. They spent countless hours helping bring my vision to life. Drywalling, painting, flooring, plumbing, electrical, building cabinets and hanging shelves…you name it, they did it. Udaya Salon exists because of the love and effort they poured into it.
And my husband, whose belief in my ability to achieve any dream I set my mind to has never once wavered.
This year, he took a step back from his career to take care of our 3 boys while I work my new schedule. Because of him, I’ve been able to fully dive into my goals and grow this career in ways I only dreamed of. I cannot thank him enough for the support, encouragement and space he’s given me to grow.
And lastly, thank you to every single person who supports my business in any way.
You are the reason I get to keep doing this. The reason I get to keep chasing bigger goals, building bigger dreams and living 13 year old Mackenzie’s dream every single day.
