Not every recipe makes it to the shelf, and this one definitely won't.
After letting this batch settle for a few days, the consistency just isn't where we want it. It's too dry and crumbly, so it's not something we will be putting in the shop.
The good news? It still leaves the skin feeling incredibly soft and nourished, so I know we're on the right track. Now it's just about fine-tuning the formula until it has the smooth, luxurious texture we have in mind.
I'd rather spend the extra time getting it right than release something we can’t be 100% proud of.

In the testing stages! We have a luxury body scrub and an exfoliating body bar that we are hoping to add to the product line up in the next couple weeks. So far it’s looking good :)

Today we’re sharing a behind-the-scenes look at a small test batch of an exfoliating body scrub soap we’ve been working on. The goal? To help prep your skin before applying our Shower Finish Body Serum for an even smoother, softer, more radiant glow.
This is still in the testing stage, but we’re excited about the possibilities and hopeful that it will be making its way onto our shelves soon.

Behind the scenes at L.L. Skin Labs...
A lot of testing happens before a product ever makes it onto the shelf.
Lately I've been experimenting with different ingredients, textures, and formulations, exploring ways to create something that complements our Shower Finish Body Serum and helps make your skin feel even smoother and softer.
Some recipes work. Some don't. But that's all part of the process.
I can't promise anything just yet, but I'm excited about some of the ideas taking shape and I'm hopeful there may be something new joining the L.L. Skin Labs collection in the near future. 💕
For now, it's back to testing, tweaking, and creating.
