September!

September has been a great month ☺️

✔️ Matthew is 2 months old today!
✔️ Matthew went swimming for the first time ever in Grandma and Grandpas Pool
✔️ Matthew was able to get 4 generation photos done with not one but 2 sets of his great grandparents. Now we need to get one with his great grandparents who live here. How lucky are we do have so many great grandparents ❤️
✔️ Chewie and Simba turned 4 on the 18th 😳🥰
✔️ Little Robbie turns 4 today and we celebrated at the energy center on saturday and had a fantastic time!
✔️ Rob and Mak had their second Baby! Im proud to announce I have another Nephew. Michael and Matthew are 6 weeks and 1 day apart! They will be the best of friends growing up 🙌🙌
✔️ My cousin got married the day before my birthday and I was able to see most my family and Matthew got to meet his Great Nana
✔️ I had a great birthday! Alex, Matthew and I just relaxed all day watching one of my favorite shows (criminal minds), enjoyed a great breakfast dessert from Jonny Waffles and I received the cutest card ever from Alex 🥰🥰
✔️ I went back to work with Matthew! Matthew is very social and is having a great time at work with me so far!

Matthew's 2 month update!

▪️We sleep well at night now! Except when we are tired I give mom and dad a hard time with burping after eating
▪️ We LOVE being held!
▪️ We love our playmat time! We spend about 2 hours on it every morning practicing tummy time and playing the the toys over head
▪️ We are very very fascinated by lights ✨️
▪️ We are a fan of the TV, we especially like Jurassic Park, Beauty and the Beast, Dads YouTube shows and of course Criminal Minds
▪️ We have listened to Harry Potter and the Philosopher Stone, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, and we are about halfway through Eragon through Audible! We listen to books while doing tummy time and we are more of a fan of Audible then we are of music so far
▪️ We go for our first set of Imminizations tomorrow morning and we will get weighed! As of friday according to our home scale we are 11.8lbs
▪️ We are the most chill dude! We only really cry when hungry! We are 10/10 happy boy

August was such an AMAZING month 💙

Matthew is now a month and a few days old, and we have already had so many adventures, met so many people, and made so many special memories. We are incredibly lucky to have so much love and support surrounding us. Thank you to everyone who has helped us, spoiled Matthew with gifts, checked in on us, and made this transition into motherhood so much easier. It truly means more than we can put into words.

We are very happy, very healthy, and very chill over here! We absolutely love him so much 🥰

And now… a little work update! ✨

I will officially be back behind the chair starting in the middle of September! However, I will be working a very limited schedule, so I will only be able to accommodate a certain number of clients while I balance being your hairstylist and being Matthew’s mom.

As of right now, my schedule will be:
✨ Mondays with Matthew 9am to 6pm
✨ Every second Thursday afternoons/early evenings with Matthew 3pm to 6:30pm
✨ Fridays without Matthew 9am to 6pm
These times are not set in stone and do greatly depend on what I have booked! But its a rough estimate to my new schedule!

I have my online booking temporarily disabled so that I can have full control over my schedule and make sure I am able to balance my time doing hair and being a mom to Matthew!

I feel incredibly lucky that I get to continue doing what I love while also being a mom to this sweet boy. It may look a little different than it did before, but I am so excited to get back behind the chair and see all of you!

Phase 1 of our salon renovations is COMPLETE!

I am so excited to finally share the first step in Tangles' new look! Change is such a beautiful thing, and this is only the beginning... stay tuned because there's so much more to come!

This year has been such a special one for me. Tangles is one of my babies, so I wanted to give her a little refresh before I head off on my next big adventure—motherhood!
Baby Harris 💙 is still growing strong and is expected to make his arrival at the end of July, so it's definitely a big month around here!
