🚨 TIME TRAVELLER ALERT: She Made It to 2026, Her Payment Didn’t. 🕰️💅
A friendly heads-up to our neighbours and fellow small business owners ❤️
Today, a walk-in guest received a manicure at our salon. The service was completed, but when it came time to settle the bill, she left without paying.
Our team followed her outside and reminded her that payment was still outstanding.
And here comes our favourite part:
When she realized she was being recorded, there was no embarrassed face and no rush back to settle the bill.
Instead, she looked directly at the camera, smiled, and proudly gave us a ✌️ victory sign.
We have to admit — that was an impressive level of confidence. 😂
Perhaps our mysterious time traveller genuinely believed she had arrived in a century where a beautiful smile and a victory sign could be exchanged for a complimentary manicure.
Unfortunately, she landed in 2026.
So, a warm reminder to our neighbouring businesses: if our time traveller happens to visit you, you may want to explain before providing a service that smiles are free, ✌️ signs are free, but the time, products and professional work of a small business are not.
We work hard. Our employees work hard. Every service represents someone’s time, skill and livelihood. ❤️
And to our mysterious traveller:
The smile was free.
The ✌️ was free.
The manicure was not. 💅
You’re still welcome to travel back and settle the outstanding bill.
