The tiny dark speckles you see one day after treatment are called MENDS (Microscopic Epidermal Necrotic Debris). These are tiny pigmented skin cells that have been treated by the laser and naturally rise to the surface before flaking away over the following week. It’s a normal part of the healing process and a sign your skin is renewing itself.
