We came to Puglia because my favourite grape varietal, Susumaniello, is from this region.

The wine tour at I Pastini did not disappoint. 10/10. Huge thanks to , the staff, and our entire tour group for keeping Ava happy while Mama got to work. 🍷

We never stopped going out when we had Ava. We just brought her with us.

She’s been coming to restaurants since she was tiny, so now it’s just normal to her. Sure, sometimes she needs a reminder that there isn’t a puppy waiting under the table for the food she drops 🤦🏽‍♀️ but overall, she’s pretty great.

She waves at nearby tables, charms the servers, tries new foods, and honestly just enjoys being part of the experience with us.

I really think exposing kids to these environments early makes such a difference — especially for travel. Restaurants, airports, sporting events… none of it feels unfamiliar or overwhelming because it’s simply part of her normal life.

Motherhood was never something I thought would be part of my story, so some days it still feels surreal. Grateful every single day that I get to be your mom. We may be doing it a little differently, but we’re building a beautiful life and having a lot of fun along the way.

Still thinking about this moment.

After months of preparation, coaching, problem-solving, and behind-the-scenes work, these entrepreneurs stepped onto a national stage and shared their businesses, stories, and visions the forum. I couldn’t be more proud of each and every one of them.

So much heart went into this showcase — from the participants, to our judges, to the incredible team behind the Indigenous Launchpad program who worked tirelessly to make it happen. Watching these entrepreneurs grow in confidence and step into their potential has been such a privilege.
