We’re halfway to Friday and it’s nail day over here with some press ons!

They come in a range of lengths, styles/designs, and there are different application methods, so whether you’re a newbie to press-ons like me or a seasoned vet, they’ve got you covered.

Because this was my first attempt at press-ons, I opted to for tab press on set versus one that required the use of glue. The tab styled sets offer a shorter period of wear— lasting up to 7 days.

There was a bit of a learning curve to placing the tabs and nails precisely, but aside from that, the look was decent.

Worth mentioning. The fit and natural shape of your nails will impact your experience. If you have curved nail beds, then these will hug the natural curve of your nails, but if you have a flatter nail bed, I saw a few mention discomfort. Thankfully, I did not.

ImI tried the extra short set, and coming from a girlie that doesn’t normally do press on, there is a bit of extra noticeable length.

I do a lot of baking and cooking, and on top of that, wash my hands about a billion times a day because that’s how it is when you’ve got kids under 6. I’m hard on my nails and sometimes, I barely made it to the end of the day before they starting popping off.

I will try the glue ons next, so I can compare the two.

But for now, my lifestyle is probably more suited for polish only. But the tabs are perfect for dressing up my nails on a special occasion or date night❤️
