With 5 years of experience behind the chair, Talon has built a reputation for being consistent, detail-oriented, and making every client feel welcome from the moment they walk through the door. Whether you’re coming in for a fresh cut, a beard cleanup, or his signature slick back styling, you can expect a sharp, polished result every time.

Many of you may already know Talon from his time downtown and at The Friendly Wolf Barbershop, where he became known not only for his work, but for the conversations that make a barbershop visit something you actually look forward to.

A great storyteller with an easy-going personality, he brings the kind of energy that fits perfectly with what we’re building at Section Five-O-Six.

Some goodbyes hit a little harder than others.

Today we’re sending off one of the originals, and someone who has been a huge part of our journey.

Adrien Shaun has been barbering since high school, and for the past 3.5 years, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside him.

Even in the short time we’ve had Section Five-O-Six open, Adrien has been an OG from the start. Dedicated, self-aware, intentional, and incredibly talented behind the chair. He’s always had that perfectionist mindset, constantly pushing himself, experimenting with new techniques, and finding ways to become a better barber and artist.

But what we’ll miss most isn’t just the talent behind the chair. It’s Adrien himself. His personality, his love for the craft, the chirps, the rage baiting, and all the little things that made working together what it was. The shop simply won’t be the same without him.

On August 16th, Adrien will officially be wrapping up his time at Section Five-O-Six before heading to Australia to start a new chapter, experience life outside of Fredericton, and see more of what the world has to offer.

We’re definitely going to miss you, but we couldn’t be more excited to see what you do next.
