Crystal Dawn Tattoos and Steph Plett Tattoos are partnering for a special one day flash event in support of Bandaged Paws, with 100% of proceeds donated directly to the rescue. 🐕

This fundraiser is especially close to our hearts. We both know how much love animals bring into our lives through our own pets, and we wanted to create something that gives back to animals in our community who need support, care, and a safe home ❤️

🕑 This client always has fantastic retention even after 3 weeks.

But! Its easy to be fooled into thinking you dont need a fill just because they still look nice that far out.

The photo to the left is fully filled in, and to the right what it looked like after 3 weeks. There is a pretty vast difference.

9/10 the further you push a lash fill the more likely you are to have a TON of outgrown lashes as pictured in the second picture.

And if you dont that immediately tells me your natural lashes aren't growing. And although the industry praises pushing lash fills to an exended period of time to me this is a sign your natural lashes aren't growing. Which is not a good thing.

This is one of the main reasons I do not allow clients to do fills past 3 weeks. And to me even that is pushing it. The more outgrown an extension becomes the more likely they are to cause lash breakage/damage. And over time that damage becomes irreversible.

Unfortunately the lash industry has become toxic with praising pushing fills longer and longer. And eventually this will cause a whole generation of women to not be able to wear extensions into their later years. So please when you choose to have extensions know and understand youre choosing to maintain them properly in order to keep your lash health and keep your extensions. 🕑

🖤🩷 Volume lashes with a splash of pink!

Recently ive gotten the pleasure of doing a few sets with pops of color! And I just cant say enough how much I'm living for it.

I know when people hear "colored lashes" they assume that the color has to be loud and the main focus. When in reality the color should compliment the clients eyes and lash set.

Can I do a big loud colorful set? Hell yes I can. But can we also add a peekaboo of color thats more for you then the masses? Absolutely! Lashes should always be about your confidence and tailored to your wants and needs. 🩷🖤

This is a new client of mine who really struggled to find a lash tech who not only did good work, but listened to her wants and needs. Which honestly weren't alot to ask. 😅

She simply wanted a nice Mega set that wasnt as she referred to them as "caterpillars" but still nice and full! And she mentioned she loved pink so we did a nice pink color pop at the end of each eye. (I of course forgot photos 🫥)

I wont lie the work she came in with was questionable at best, and worst of all didnt make her love her lashes. We of course did a free removal and a fresh set that we 100% customized to her wants and needs. And i am pleased to say she left with lashes she actually loved!
