WOW!
That filled up fast! OFFICIALLY FULL…accepting clients Oct 15th on

I’m officially certified in Manual Lymph Drainage (this was a re-certification for me) — and now I need 5 practice bodies!

I’m offering 5 full-body MLD treatments for $80 (regular $160) while I build more hands-on experience with this technique.

You’ll need to be available during the daytime next week, with 1–2 appointments available Saturday, October 3.

What is Manual Lymph Drainage?

MLD is a gentle, rhythmic technique designed to encourage the movement of lymphatic fluid through the lymphatic system. The pressure is quite light because much of the lymphatic system we’re targeting lies close to the surface.

MLD may be helpful for:

• Supporting lymphatic flow and fluid movement
• Mild swelling, puffiness or feelings of heaviness
• Supporting recovery when MLD is appropriate
• Helping move excess interstitial fluid back toward circulation
• Promoting relaxation and a calmer nervous-system state

What MLD is NOT

It is not a “detox” treatment, weight-loss or fat-loss treatment, or deep-tissue massage designed to work out knots and muscular tension.

It’s also not appropriate for everyone. Certain medical conditions, acute infections, unexplained swelling, blood clots and some cardiac or kidney conditions may require medical clearance or mean MLD should not be performed.

A proper health screening will be completed before treatment to make sure MLD is appropriate for you.

Want to be one of my 5 practice bodies? Send me a message with your daytime availability next week or whether Saturday works for you.

One year.

Before surgery, I was in pain 24 hours a day. I wasn’t sleeping. I was using a cane. Everything revolved around my hip. And I had tried everything — physio, personal training, injections, rest, modifying everything I did.

Then came surgery.

The pain after was intense, but it was different. It was surgical pain. For the first time in a long time, the pain wasn’t coming from something broken anymore.

I wasn’t prepared for how long, emotional and lonely rehab would be. Progress, setbacks, frustration, tears, tiny wins… and doing the same boring work over and over again.

But I also learned how lucky I am.

My parents came for two weeks and took care of me when I couldn’t take care of myself. My family, friends and everyone who checked in, walked with me, listened to me complain or celebrated the little wins — thank you.❤️

And a special shoutout to Elevation Yoga & Fitness Yoga Amber | Yoga Instructor and Pilates MOVEBYKENNEDY | Pilates X Strength gave me a gentle way back into movement, helped me trust my body again and slowly build the strength I have today.

Then came walking my dogs again. Biking. Hiking. Lifting.

Living.

I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone. It was fu***ng hard.

But I learned a lot this year.

Progress is not linear. Your body doesn’t care about the timeline you’ve decided it should follow. Setbacks don’t erase progress. And sometimes the strongest thing you can do is stop fighting where you are, do the boring work in front of you, and trust that all those tiny things are adding up.

A year ago I just wanted my life back.

Today, I realize I didn’t get the exact same life back.

I built my way into a new one.

And I’m really grateful to be here.

Your body doesn’t know it’s Monday.

It also doesn’t know you ate pizza Saturday night.

But somehow we’ve decided that enjoying more food on the weekend requires a punishment phase starting Monday morning.

Skip breakfast.
Cut the carbs.
Drop the calories.
Add cardio.
“Get back on track.”

You don’t need to undo anything.

One restaurant meal is just a restaurant meal.
A vacation is a vacation.
A birthday is a birthday.

Your next move is incredibly boring:

Eat normally again.

Protein. Produce. Enough food. Water. Movement.

No compensation.
No punishment.
No dramatic reset.

The ability to return to normal without overcorrecting is one of the most important skills you can learn.

That’s consistency.

Thank you, GLP-1.
Not for the reason you think.
You lit a fire under my ass.🔥
Somewhere along the way, watching peptides and GLP-1s become the answer to EVERYTHING made me want to find out what I could still do THE OLD FASHIONED WAY.
This is my current “STACK”
Train.
Eat enough protein.
Walk a lot.
Sleep.
Recover.
Be consistent.
Repeat when it’s boring.

And damn.

I’m getting leaner.
I’m stronger.
I’m sleeping better.
My energy is better.
My mood is better.
I have less pain.
And I feel more like myself.

Please note: GLP-1 medications absolutely have a place, and when they’re medically indicated, that conversation belongs between someone and their healthcare provider. ❤️

But for me?

Turns out the thing I needed was a little “challenge accepted” motivation.

So sincerely…
thank you, GLP-1.
Saying NO to you
accidentally became my pre-workout.💪

One of the most underrated fat-loss skills has nothing to do with calories.
It’s making decisions BEFORE you’re hungry, tired and pi**ed off.

What are you having for dinner tonight?

What are you eating after work when you’re starving?

What are you taking for the eight-hour drive?

Have you looked at the restaurant menu?

Do you have protein in the house that takes less than five minutes to make?

This isn’t obsessive.
It’s removing unnecessary decisions.
The people who are consistent aren’t walking around with superhuman willpower.
They’ve just stopped expecting their exhausted 6 PM brain to make every decision for them.
Make the decision earlier.
Make the better choice easier.
That’s a strategy you can actually repeat.

Stop expecting your hardest days to look like your easiest ones.

Two weeks into SHIFT and I’m already seeing exactly why this work matters.

Not because everyone is having perfect weeks. They’re not.

I’m seeing missed workouts, meals out, travel, sick days, busy work schedules and motivation starting to dip.

But I’m also seeing something much more important:

People planning ahead when they normally wouldn’t.
Getting their steps even on busy days.
Prioritizing protein.
Strength training again.
Cooking more meals at home.
Tracking even when the day wasn’t “perfect.”
Learning that one off-plan meal doesn’t need to become an off-plan weekend.

And maybe my favourite one — starting to recognize the all-or-nothing thinking before it takes over.

Because this was never supposed to be 12 perfect weeks.

It’s 12 weeks of learning how to keep showing up when life looks exactly like life.

That’s where the change happens.

You don’t need more motivation. You need enough consistency to keep going when motivation isn’t there.

And we’re just getting started.

SHIFT is under way. September is about establishing the basics before trying to optimize them. Each week has one clear focus while your personalized nutrition, protein, step and strength targets continue in the background.

WEEK 1 ESTABLISH YOUR BASELINE

This first week is about information, not perfection.
You have your calorie/macronutrient targets, protein target and step goal. Your job this week is to start working with them and see what your normal life actually looks like.
Don’t drastically cut food because the challenge started. Don’t add a pile of extra cardio. Don’t try to create a “perfect” week. I want an accurate starting point.

THIS WEEK
· Track your food as accurately as you can if tracking is part of your plan.
· Work toward your protein target.
· Work toward your daily step goal.
· Complete 2–3 strength sessions.
· Use your tracker.
· Pay attention to where things feel easy and where they fall apart.

PAY ATTENTION TO
Pay attention to when you are most likely to get off track. Is it lack of planning? Evenings? Workdays? Weekends? Being too hungry? Not having food ready? We need to know the problem before we try to solve it.

This is exactly why I created SHIFT.

Not to give you another extreme plan to follow for a few weeks — but to help you get better at the part that actually changes things:

Doing the simple, effective things long enough for them to work.

12 weeks.
Weekly accountability via text or email.
A new focus each week.
3 in-person check-ins with body composition.

SHIFT starts next week | $225

There’s still time to join us.

DM SHIFT and I’ll send you the details.
