When I started Smooth Seas Laser Company three years ago, I thought it would simply be a new chapter for me — something of my own after both of my boys started school.

What I could never have imagined was just how much I would love it. I found a genuine passion for what I do, but even more than that, I’ve loved the people I get to spend my days with. You’ve turned appointments into conversations, laughs, friendships and a community that I’m incredibly grateful for.

We built Smooth Seas the old-fashioned way: word of mouth. No viral videos, no huge social media following — just wonderful clients telling their friends, family and coworkers about me.
And thank goodness for that, because I’m far too old to be dancing on TikTok for views. 😅🤦🏻‍♀️

None of this exists without you. Every recommendation, every rebooking, every kind review, every person who has walked through my door and trusted me — you built this business with me.

Three years ago, I just knew I needed something new for myself. I never could have dreamed it would become this: a full schedule filled with the absolute best clients, doing work I genuinely love, while still building my days around my family so I can be there for all the moments that matter.

It’s more than I ever hoped for.

Huge Shout-out to Fall River Local Business Sterling Vehicle Detailing for making our truck look brand new while I worked today!

This is the 3rd mobile car detail company i’ve had and they are the absolute best. So thorough and our vehicle looks brand new. Absolutely lovely people too!

We generally get our vehicles cleaned in the Spring and Fall and let me tell you- the signs of summer adventures, baseball, beach days and an unfortunate protein shake explosion were no match for Paul’s cleaning ability- it looks like we just drove it off the lot.

When I follow up after your appointment, I’m the one writing the text. When you send a message, you’re talking to me. If you call, I’m the one picking up the phone.

I didn’t grow my business with going viral on social media but the old fashioned way through customer service and word of mouth.

Some might say that eventually businesses like mine will fall behind as the world changes.

But I think the more everything becomes automated, filtered and impersonal, the more we’re going to crave something real.
