My very first kale harvest is finally here, and I couldn't wait to turn it into this delicious pot of ikro soup. There’s something so satisfying about cooking with vegetables you grew yourself.

Not every man who seems good to the world is good at home.
He may be kind, calm, respectful, generous, and admired by everyone around him. People may describe him as the nicest person they’ve ever met. But behind closed doors, he can be a completely different person.
Some people wear kindness like a mask. Outside, they smile, help others, and protect their reputation. At home, they control, intimidate, belittle, or emotionally hurt the very people who love them.
That’s why it’s dangerous to assume you know someone’s private life based on their public image. When problems in the home finally come to light, many people refuse to believe it because he seems like such a good man.
The truth is, a person’s true character is often revealed by how they treat those who can’t simply walk away, not by how they treat strangers or people watching.
Not every story has visible bruises. Sometimes the deepest wounds are the ones no one else can see.
