This is a flat plaster casted mold I used the create a latex prosthetic. The plaster helps remove moisture from the latex while it cures. To remove, gently pull up on the edges and powder as you go. The same mold can be used many times.

Here is the latex prosthetic preprinted with alcohol paint and ready to apply. I casted latex into plaster and allowed it to dry fully before releasing it. Painting the appliance before can help cut down on the application time but only if you know the desired skin colour first.

I casted latex in plaster using several layers and allowing it to dry fully. The appliance was then pealed out and preprinted with alcohol paints and drying stage blood. The latex was then applied with pros-aide adhesive, blended edges with acetone and applied alcohol to match skin tone. Petroleum jelly was added to give a wet look.
