DecorousSoaps makes all sorts of soaps for everyday use or numerous occasions! More soaps are added every week! Funny enough this all started with candles. BAM!
One day I was complaining that the new candle I bought had zero scent to it and my boyfriend suggested I should just make my own candles, and soap too. The seed was planted. The rest of the day I was thinking about whether or not I could actually pull off candle making. And soap. How in the world is soap even made? I went to good ol' google and started my journey. I never realized there were soo many cool things you can do with soap! I was hooked. Next thing I know it was 4am and I still couldn't sleep because I was that pumped about soap making. Fast forward through all those first attempts, samples to friends and family and here we are, DecorousSoaps. Currently, all soaps are melt and pour soaps that I make in my own home. One day I would love to work on cold process soaps but I want to master one thing at a time! The soap bases I use do at this point do contain SLS and SLES. However, there is currently no scientific evidence that links SLS to cancer. That being said I do plan on eventually ordering a variety of bases that do not contain these detergents.

DecorousSoaps is back at it! Currently testing lip balms! This test is Chai tea flavoured. If all goes well they will be added to the shop later this week!
At the Rutland centennial hall today with a bunch of goodies!
Here from 10am-3pm so stop on by!
