It’s never too late to start something new. 🤍

We spend such a huge part of our lives working, so I honestly believe that if your career no longer makes you happy or fulfilled, it’s okay to choose a different path.

My student Tonia is such a good example of this.

She started as a body tattoo artist, then went into nursing, and now she’s decided to come back to the tattoo world — this time adding permanent makeup to her skills.

And I’m so happy she did.

She’s incredibly talented, she already has a great understanding of machines and hand control, and it was such a pleasure to teach her over these five days.

I love seeing people give themselves permission to start a new chapter, no matter what stage of life they’re in.

You don’t have to stay on the same path just because you started there.

Sometimes the best thing you can do is simply say, “I want to try something different.” 🤍

When you’re in the middle of building your dream, you don’t really notice how far you’ve come.

You’re just working.
Learning.
Teaching.
Trying to get better.
Moving on to the next goal.

And then suddenly…

You win first place in Canada.

And later, you get invited back as a judge.

And you realize…
Wait. I actually made it to a place I once only dreamed about.

Being invited to judge WULOP was one of those moments for me🤍

I’m so grateful for this industry, for every opportunity, every person I’ve met along the way, and for the version of me who decided to step into permanent makeup all those years ago.

Because day to day, I don’t always see the growth.

Sometimes you have to stop and look back to realize just how far you’ve come. 🤍
