Some important changes are coming to medical aesthetics in Ontario in March 2027.

As a nurse injector and clinic owner, I wanted to share what these changes mean for our industry and potentially for your future appointments.

Currently, I have no plans to adjust my pricing. However, these changes may introduce additional costs associated with medical oversight and treatment authorization. Should these costs increase significantly, pricing may need to be reassessed in the future.

I will always aim to keep any adjustments reasonable and transparent.

There are still details to figure out, but my priority will always be providing safe, personalized care while making this transition smooth for my clients.

You might be noticing changes in your face, but that doesn’t automatically mean you need Botox.

One of the biggest things I want my clients to understand is that different concerns have different underlying causes and a common mistake I see is clients wanting to heavily rely on one treatment to fix everything.

Expression lines, changes in skin texture, loss of volume and changes in skin firmness are not all the same thing. And treating them as though they are can lead to disappointing results.

For example, Botox can be wonderful for softening expression lines, but it isn’t going to correct every concern related to skin quality and it’s not going to correct facial volume or skin laxity.

This is why I believe in treating the face as a whole rather than relying on one treatment to address every concern. Often, the most natural and balanced results come from combining treatments that work together to address different aspects of aging.

When you come in for a consultation, I want to understand what you’re noticing, assess what’s contributing to it and explain which options may actually benefit you.

Sometimes that means combining treatments. And it can mean starting with just one but having a comprehensive plan. And sometimes, it means telling you that I don’t think you need anything right now.

You don’t need to know what treatment to book. You just need to know what you’d like help with.
