Tried something new out with these butterfly wings. Just need to get some more chain to finish these necklaces up!

Another couples project!! Brianna saved me some flowers that her boyfriend gave her. I framed the flowers and added some rings that have both of their initials and their Anniversary. For Brianna I made the rings based on her ring size and for her boyfriend I put them on a chain where they can be worn on his neck or hung up as decoration. This little project was fun and a great way to show the new rings I’ll be making 💕💕

I haven’t been posting any of my new pieces for awhile as I have been working on lots of larger projects as well as personal projects for friends and family. Soon I will be starting metal rings and stone rings that I will be posting as well 🪷

While this is one of the more simple projects I’ve done it’s one of my new favourites. I did this for a friend this month.
🪵The wood I used is filled will lots of natural erosion and aging. I cover my wood projects with epoxy to freeze them in this aged state where they won’t degrade any further. which I think turns out really cool. 🌿

I have made a few of these so far and while they have a more rustic look to them I will also be staining the wood first for a few of them for a more finished look. This is the first one I made so I kept it for myself and took some pictures of what the finished product looks like for me once I put it to use. I’ve got lots of different sizes and shapes of wood that I will be using to continue making these!

I had the idea to try a loop-around knot and this is what I came up with.

🪵using materially that I can collect myself is something I really try to do. That’s why the wood I use for these projects i hand collect, clean and cut for all of those projects.
🪵I also cover all the wood I use with a thin layer of epoxy to insure the integrity of the wood lasts.
