Matting with nano extensions is NOT normal—and it’s usually preventable ✨

If you’re investing in your hair, you deserve it to feel just as good as it looks. Here’s how to keep your nano links smooth, separated, and mat-free:

• Brush properly (this is everything)
Use a loop brush or extension-safe brush 2–3x daily. Always support the root and brush in sections—never rip through your hair.

• Don’t skip your roots
Matting starts at the base. Gently separate your bonds with your fingers every day, especially at the nape and behind the ears.

• Sleep smart
Loose braid or low pony before bed = no tangling while you toss and turn.

• Keep products away from the bonds
Conditioner, oils, and masks should stay mid-length to ends only. Too much moisture at the root can cause slipping + tangling.

• Dry your hair fully
Going to bed with damp roots is one of the fastest ways to create matting.

• Stay on your maintenance schedule
Waiting too long between move-ups can cause the hair to grow out and tangle at the root.

Nano extensions should feel light, flexible, and effortless—if they’re matting, something needs to be adjusted 🤍

And remember… it’s not just about the install, it’s about the aftercare. That’s where the magic really happens.

If you’ve been struggling with matting, I got you—come in and let’s fix it together ✨

Finally on his own! He was terrified of the chair lift but he did it!

Picture 1: NOT my work
Bead is way too close to scalp
Strands should be placed under the natural hair
Sections need more hair and a clean triangle shape

Clean sections
Strands placed under the natural hair
Bead placed a finger tip away from scalp!

When looking for a tech pls pls pls look at the sectioning. You want healthy growth when wearing extensions!!!!

🚫 Wefts at the hairline? That’s where problems start 👀 HEAR ME OUT!

Most clients come to me after a weft install because the front still looks thin, bulky, or visible.
Wefts need density and coverage — and the hairline just doesn’t have it.

✨ That’s where nano links come in -
Placed strand by strand to fill temples, soften the hairline and create a seamless blend.

Lightweight. Invisible. Natural.
Wefts for fullness. Nanos for detail.
That’s the difference.

I’ve seen some beautiful weft work come into my chair ✨
And once I place just a few nano strands in the areas wefts can’t go?

It becomes spectacular.

We work smarter together.

If you love your wefts but feel like you’re missing thickness near the hairline — that’s exactly where I come in.

✨ It’s a new era in extensions.
No competition - Just technicians respecting each other’s work and making it even better.

Fullness + detail = next-level results.

This is just the sweetest thing. Letters from Santa. The amount of surprise in his voice! His love of Christmas truly comes from Aaron’s mom. She LOVED Christmas.

🍁✨ It’s Shedding Season! ✨🍁

Looking closely you can see the shed hairs stuck in the bead! You may scratch your head thinking hmmmm, is that normal? Well…

Every fall our hair gets a little “sweater weather mood” and starts shedding more than usual. Totally normal! 🙌 We can lose up to 100 hairs a day (wild, right?).
If you wear extensions, you might notice it even more. Since your shed hairs can’t fall straight to the floor, they get trapped in your beads or rows. Sometimes you’ll even see little white bulbs poking out of the beads—that’s just the natural root of a shed hair, not breakage.
Tips for this time of year:
✨ Brush daily to keep things smooth + tangle-free.
✨ Don’t skip your maintenance—shed hairs love to hide in there!
✨ Hydrate your scalp + try a gentle massage for extra TLC.
So if you’re spotting more hair or those little white bulbs—don’t stress! 🍂 It’s just your hair’s natural cycle. With the right care, your extensions will stay full + fabulous all season long. 💕

DM me if you are wanting / thinking of getting extensions! I am here for it and YOU!

Remy? What in the world does “Remy hair” mean?

Any supplier can add the word Remy to the list of qualities they offer when it comes to their “quality Remy hair extensions.

Q. What does Remy actually mean?
A. Remy is the Gold standard in hair extensions but the term is held loosely due to everyone calling their product 100 % Remy hair when it is in fact NOT!

❣️Cuticle Alignment:
Remy is human hair that is collected with the cuticles intact. What makes it more special is that it’s cut from a SINGLE donor, meaning the strands are uniform in texture and color

❣️Cuticle Direction:
Keeping the cuticles aligned means that Remy hair is less likely to tangle. Since the cut doesn’t compromise the cuticle alignment the hair will continue to perform well over time

With this being said we can also add in that if the source is taking pride in the quality of hair we would like to assume that the hair is ethically sourced. Meaning the donors rights are respected through out the process.

So! Cuticle alignment and single donor sourcing you are bound to get hair that looks and FEELS natural while lasting a long time.

So seeing the word Remy does not mean it’s actually 100% Remy hair. Take a closer look at the company and their values. Spending upwards of 1000$ on hair extensions to have them tangle and break within two weeks of wearing them is truly a crime. Generally, I find the shinier the hair the less likely it will last more than a week or two!
Feel good about your hair and make an impact with every strand!

DM to book a maintenance or consult! I’m happy to try and answer all of your questions!

Why are my extensions getting shorter?

I get asked this question in my DMs quite a bit…

“I had gotten invisible beaded weft last year and she said they were 24 inches in length. I went for a move up last week and my extensions are NOT 24 inches. I am looking to change to another method and better hair.”

My response to this beauty was exactly this…

“Let me show you a great example of my clients hair that was just in my chair. Here is her hair (dark) and beside it is a brand new bundle (both nanolink). She has had this hair in for 11 months. She comes regularly every 5 to 6 weeks for maintenance. Each time we install the hair we trim (NOT CUT) the ends of the hair to freshen and even it out. I will even go
