Happy Father’s Day from Embodied Resilience Wellness Clinic 💛
Today we’re thinking of all the fathers, father figures, grandfathers, stepdads, caregivers, and people showing up with love in the ways they can.
Fatherhood can hold so much: joy, pressure, responsibility, grief, growth, repair, and quiet effort that often goes unseen.
To the fathers doing their best, learning as they go, supporting their families, and trying to build connection in a world that does not always make space for emotional honesty — we see you.
Your care matters. Your effort matters. Your presence matters.
Happy Father’s Day.

Today is National Indigenous Peoples Day — a day to honour the history, heritage, resilience, and diversity of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples across Canada.
At Embodied Resilience Wellness Clinic, we are taking time to reflect, learn, listen, and recognize the ongoing strength, leadership, knowledge, and contributions of Indigenous communities.
May this day be one of celebration, respect, and continued commitment to learning beyond a single post.

When a plan changes, sometimes your whole brain just goes: “Absolutely not.”
Rob recorded this in the middle of that exact feeling — angry, frustrated, thrown off, and trying not to let the whole day disappear because one plan fell through.
Sometimes saying it out loud helps. Not because it magically fixes it, but because it gives the feeling somewhere to go.
If this feels familiar, you are not alone.
Our psychotherapy team can support with ADHD, Autism, AuDHD, emotional regulation, burnout, frustration, and nervous system overwhelm.

Healthy boundaries are not about cutting people off.
They are about staying connected without losing yourself in the process.
For many people with ADHD, burnout can build quietly. You may say yes quickly, push past your limits, and only realize how overwhelmed you are once your system is already exhausted.
That does not mean you are selfish or failing.
It may mean you need more space to pause, check in with yourself, and understand what your capacity actually is.
Fizza offers virtual psychotherapy across Ontario and supports clients navigating ADHD, burnout, boundaries, grief, transitions, and emotional overwhelm.

New blog: Healthy Boundaries and ADHD: Staying Connected Without Losing Yourself
For many people with ADHD, burnout builds through saying yes too often, missing your own cues, and trying to meet everyone else’s needs first.
This blog explores how boundaries can support connection, capacity, and nervous system care.

Getting the physiotherapy space ready is part of preparing for your care.
Adjusting the treatment table.
Setting out equipment.
Making sure everything is clean, organized, and ready for the appointment ahead.
Before clients arrive, Pawmir takes time to physically set up the space so it is ready to support assessment, treatment, movement, and conversation.
It may seem like a small part of the process, but a well-prepared environment helps appointments run smoothly and allows the focus to stay where it belongs — on you and your goals.
Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at Pawmir getting the physiotherapy room ready for the day.
