I finally took a day off 🤍
It’s been an extremely busy summer. Between wedding season, the day to day retail shop, and opening our second location, La Rose Flowers London, I feel like I’ve been working nonstop for the last 2 months…
I spent the day in Toronto with my husband and my oldest daughter…walking the streets, checking out cute little boutique shops, visiting the AGO Art Gallery of Ontario for their limited time Impressionist exhibition, filling my bellies with yummy food, and somehow trying 9 flavours at our favourite gelato place 😂
We walked, ate, looked at art, soaked up the late summer sunshine and just enjoyed the day together.
Running a small business can consume so much of your life. Sometimes you don’t realize how tired you are until you finally stop.
And I really needed this day.
A perfect Sunday. A full belly. A little Vitamin D. Time with my family.
Feeling recharged and ready to go back to La Rose. 🌹

The house was filled with happiness as the bride, her sisters, the girls and the moms got ready together.
I really treasure these wedding mornings. As a bridal hair and makeup artist, I get to share in their excitement, help everyone feel beautiful and be part of such a meaningful day. Honestly, I think I leave with almost as much happiness as they do.
