Plot twist: the CRA and I are no longer in a relationship.🤭
After finding out my business taxes hadn’t been filed for 5 years and being handed a $47,000 tax bill, I honestly didn’t know how I was going to get through it.
Add that to a year filled with loss, a fire, rising expenses, and more challenges than I thought I could handle, and it felt impossible. I was ready to throw in the towel.
But God was faithful every step of the way.
Today, it’s officially PAID OFF. 🎉
What felt like one of the worst situations of my life ended up teaching me lessons about business, finances, discipline, and perseverance that I never would have learned otherwise.
If you’re in a hard season right now, keep going. Keep making the payments. Keep showing up. Keep trusting God.

✨ One wild decade of business. ✨
If there’s one thing this journey has taught me, it’s this: life is both fragile and full. Work hard, but slow down. Keep pushing forward, but don’t miss the moment you’re in.
There have been seasons of joy, and seasons of deep loss. Times of growth, and times that tested everything.
At the end of the day, the success, the numbers, the things, they don’t go with us. What matters is the time we spend, the people we love, the moments we choose to be present for. The quiet mornings, the sunsets, the kids laughter, the long days, the faith that carries us through it all.
So here’s to giving this life everything we’ve got, living it fully, loving deeply, and trusting God in every season.
Business tip: Business growth is rarely a straight line, some seasons you sprint, some seasons you survive, and some seasons you simply keep putting one foot in front of the other. On the hard days, step outside, clear your mind, crank the music up, and keep going anyway. 🤍
