ABUNDANCE

Luke 6:27-36

I used to read Luke 6:27–36 and think Jesus was only talking about relationships.

Then I realized He was also changing the way I should approach business.

As entrepreneurs, it’s easy to think from a place of scarcity.

“What if someone copies me?”

“What if I give away too much?”

“What if another barber gets the client instead?”

But Jesus calls us to a different way of thinking.

He tells us to love people who don’t deserve it.
To bless those who curse us.
To pray for those who hurt us.
To give without expecting anything in return.

That challenged me.

I realized generosity isn’t the opposite of wisdom—but fear often disguises itself as wisdom.

If I truly believe God is my Provider, then I don’t have to build my business through comparison, manipulation, or competition.

I can celebrate another barber’s success.
I can share what I’ve learned.
I can serve people with excellence.
I can treat every client with dignity and respect.

Not because it’s a good business strategy.

But because it reflects the Father.

The more I meditate on this passage, the more I realize success isn’t measured by how much I gain.

It’s measured by how much my character begins to resemble Christ.

So whether I’m behind the barber chair, creating content, or building a business, my prayer is simple:

Lord, let people leave knowing more than they got a great haircut. Let them experience Your love through the way they were treated.

If this encouraged you, save it for the next time fear tells you to hold back.

What part of Luke 6 challenged you the most? I’d genuinely love to hear your thoughts. ✞

Getting fired from a barbershop taught me something I probably never would have learned otherwise.

Clients don't follow buildings.

They follow people.

Whether you're a barber, business owner, coach, or entrepreneur, people stay because of who you are—not just what you do.

This lesson changed how I think about business, branding, and relationships.

I shared the full story on YouTube if you'd like to watch it.

BIG NEWS.🎉

A few weeks ago, I got fired from the barbershop I was working at (TWICE!!) 🤣 Crazy to think about, but God had better plans).

At the time, it felt like a setback.

Looking back, it was exactly the push I needed.

Today, I’m officially full-time in my private studio.

This isn’t just about having more availability.

It’s about building something of my own.

A place where every client feels welcomed, valued, and leaves more confident than when they walked in.

To everyone who has trusted me with their hair, supported my journey, referred a friend, left a review, shared a post, or simply encouraged me along the way:

Thank you.

You helped make this possible.

Whether you’re looking for a fresh fade, a scissor cut, a beard trim, or a modern men’s perm, I’d love the opportunity to earn your trust and help you look your best.

Appointments are now open.

… but there’s always Good News.

No one can close the door God opens.

Not everything God calls you to do will make sense.

And that’s where most people stop.

They wait for clarity.
They wait for confirmation.
They wait until it feels right.

But obedience doesn’t work like that.

I’m learning that sometimes God just wants to see if you’ll trust Him…
even when there’s no results yet.

This is Day 5 of Fruitful Labour. 🍇✂️

If you’re choosing obedience even when it’s hard,

Comparison will have you chasing a life God never called you to live. 🏃

I caught myself today scrolling…
looking at other people’s progress and thinking:
“I should be further.”

But that mindset will keep you distracted.

God didn’t call you to compete—
He called you to be obedient.

Your timeline is different.
Your calling is different.
Your assignment is different.

This is Day 4 of Fruitful Labour. 🍇✂️
