We chose the name as a functional reference point, the same way "vegan butter" or "plant-based milk" signals what something is designed to do, not what it contains. Our goal was for formulators to know exactly what this base was built for the moment they read it.
Traditional tallow has had a well-deserved moment in skincare. For those who love it, we get it. This isn't a replacement - it's an option for formulators and consumers who want that incredible richness and skin-feel from a fully plant-based system.
