After 6 months of asking, I finally caved and gave my mini a full head of Nano Hair Extensions.

Since Millie came along, this girl has stepped up in ways I don’t think she even realizes. She’s been my extra set of hands, my helper, and the best big sister. So today, it was my turn to spoil her a little. 🤍

We chose nanos because those tiny little beads make for an incredibly discreet install. They allow lots of natural movement and, with proper placement and weight distribution, can blend beautifully without bulky attachment points.

And seeing her face when we finished? Yeah… worth the 6 months of begging. 😂

There’s a version of running a business that I knew well.

Then I became a mom again… and suddenly, I’m learning a whole new version of it.

My days look different now. My schedule is tighter. Nap time sometimes means work time. Some days I’m answering messages with a baby in my arms, and some days the business simply has to wait.

I’ve worried about slowing down. I’ve worried about losing clients. I’ve felt guilty when I’m working and guilty when I’m not.

But I’m realizing I don’t need to run my business the way I did before Millie. I just need to find a way that works for who I am now.

Some days we’re thriving. Some days we’re surviving. 🤍

To every client who has been patient, flexible, supportive and happy to see a baby tagging along from time to time — thank you.

Luscious is still very much my baby too… I’m just raising two of them now. 🥹🤍

13 WEEKS OF GROWTH 👀

Do I recommend waiting 13 weeks between weft maintenance appointments?

Absolutely not. 😂

Ideally, I want to see you back in my chair every 6–8 weeks.

BUT… can we talk about how beautifully this weft grew out considering how long it had been?!

This is where proper placement and understanding weight distribution really matters.

A good install isn't just about how your extensions look the day you leave my chair. It's about how they grow out, how the weight is distributed as your natural hair grows, and protecting the integrity of your hair along the way.

With me being off and this girl being as loyal as they come, she stretched this one waaaay longer than we normally would and took damn good care of these babies in the meantime. 🤍

But 13 weeks was enough.

She's officially refreshed with a whole new head of 20" wefts and we're back on schedule.

Pretty installs are great.
Healthy grow-outs are better. 👏
