It happens when citrus juice touches your skin and then gets exposed to UV light. The result can look like redness, swelling, blisters, streaks, or stubborn pigmentation that lingers way longer than the pool party did.

The fix? Rinse citrus off right away, keep the area cool, don’t pick, protect it from the sun, and wear your SPF like your skin’s group chat depends on it.
