Some guitars are inspired by history. Others become part of it.

The Antonio de Torres FE 13 Replica by Wolfgang Jellinghaus is a faithful recreation of one of the most influential classical guitars ever built.✨🌹

Crafted in 1860, the original FE 13 was documented by José Romanillos and later owned by the legendary Miguel Llobet before likely passing to Hermann Hauser I in the early 1920s. Hauser studied this remarkable instrument extensively, drawing inspiration from it as he developed the guitars that would define a new era of classical guitar making.

Offered here in two beautiful versions—a pristine hand-rubbed French polish and an exquisitely aged finish—both instruments are identical in construction, with the aged model capturing the appearance, warmth, and character of a guitar that has gracefully lived for generations.

Every detail has been painstakingly recreated, from the distinctive lime-green purflings surrounding the top, back, and rosette to the custom period-style tuning machines. The result is not merely a replica, but a respectful tribute to one of Antonio de Torres' most celebrated masterpieces.

There are moments when exceptional instruments arrive together and this is one of them.👏🏼

We are proud to present six newly arrived Jellinghaus "Modelo 77" guitars, each built with a 610 mm scale length and inspired by the celebrated Modelo 77 that Antonio de Torres crafted in 1884 for the distinguished Cano family.

The Cano family's patronage ensured that Torres' extraordinary instruments found their way into the hands of the greatest guitarists of the era, most notably the legendary Francisco Tárrega, forever shaping the sound and history of the classical guitar.

Rather than creating a literal copy, Wolfgang Jellinghaus has masterfully reinterpreted this historic instrument for the modern player, preserving the elegance, responsiveness, and unmistakable voice of the original while crafting guitars that are meant to inspire, perform, and be cherished for generations.

This exclusive collection includes:

• 2 × Pau Ferro back & sides
