Today, I visited them again.

She was lying in her hospital bed at the nursing home. He was sitting beside her, holding her hand, just as he always does.

She is quite confused now and always calls him “PaPa.”

And he? He still calls her “Honey.”

One honey. Two honeys. Every sentence seems to begin or end with “Honey.”

Watching them, I couldn’t help but think that she might be the happiest woman in the nursing home.

While many residents receive visits once a week or once a month, she has him by her side almost every day.

What touched me most was that even now, she still wants to look beautiful. She still wants her nails cared for. She still wants to feel like herself.

And he still looks at her with the eyes of a man deeply in love.

Today, I was reminded of two beautiful truths:

🌸 A woman deserves to feel beautiful at every age.

🌸 And true love is having someone who still holds your hand, still calls you “Honey,” and still chooses you every single day, even when time has changed everything else.

That, to me, is one of the most beautiful definitions of happiness. ❤️

Today, our hearts are full.

Our daughter has officially graduated from Concordia university.

Like many parents, we have spent years cheering from the sidelines, hoping, working, worrying, encouraging, and believing in our children every step of the way. Seeing her reach this milestone is a moment we will treasure forever.

As we celebrate this special day, we also want to say thank you.

Thank you to every client who has sat in our chairs, shared stories, trusted us with your hands and feet, and supported our small family business over the years.

Many of you have watched our children grow up.

Some of you have heard us talk about school projects, exams, graduations, and family milestones during your appointments.

What you may not realize is that every visit, every referral, every kind word has helped our family along the way.

Because of your support, we were able to keep our doors open, put food on the table, and help our children pursue their dreams.

Today, as we celebrate our daughter’s graduation, we celebrate you too.

I grew up in a Vietnamese family where my mother and grandmother often reminded me:

“Try not to drink too many cold beverages. Women should keep their bodies warm.”

To be honest, when I was younger, I didn’t pay much attention.

A cold drink on a hot summer day sounded much more appealing.

But as I’ve gotten older, I’ve come to see those words differently.

Maybe it wasn’t really about the tea.

Maybe it wasn’t even about the temperature.

Maybe it was their way of saying:

“Take care of yourself.”

In many Asian cultures, warmth is associated with comfort, nourishment, and care.
