Between strongman events… I took a very important break 🐾💪

In my spare time when I am not helping people, dogs or horses, I compete in Strongman! Over the weekend,
my friend came by to say hi with 🥹 and with my friends consent, that turned into a quick osteo session 💖

Ping is an angel. She is a trained therapy dog and exudes calm energy. She had a bit of tightness through her hip flexors and low back, nothing major, but enough to benefit from some gentle hands-on work. After just a few minutes, you could see her completely soften and settle 😌

👉 Swipe to the end to see just how relaxed she got
These are my favourite moments—helping her feel better, even in the middle of a busy, chaotic day.

If your dog could use a little extra care (or you just want to see them melt like this), you can book a canine osteopathic treatment through the link in my bio or send me a message 🐶✨

Watch closely—you don’t want to miss this. 👀

Right around the 5s mark, you can see the horse begin to soften and relax as restriction through her neck is reduced..

Watch for the signs:
✨️Softening through the mouth and tongue
✨️Licking and chewing
✨️Even yawning

These are indicators that the nervous system is shifting and the horse is beginning to let go.

The neck and head play a major role in balance, tension, and performance—yet they’re often overlooked

This is why we assess the entire system, not just where symptoms show up.

👉 Save this so you know what to look for in your own horse.

Small joint, BIG impact 🐴✨

The coffin joint (also known as the pedal joint) plays a critical role in your horse’s movement, balance, and overall performance.

It’s the final (or initial) point of force absorption every time your horse takes a step — meaning it’s constantly under load.

When this joint loses mobility or becomes restricted, you may start to notice subtle changes:

• shortened stride
• stiffness or resistance
• difficulty with collection or transitions
• uneven movement or “just not quite right”

Because it’s so small and hidden within the hoof capsule, issues here are often overlooked — but they can have a ripple effect throughout the entire limb and body.

✨ In this video, you can actually see the coffin joint’s mobility improve with hands-on osteopathic treatment. Not only does it flex and extend, but it also has subtle side-to-side motion — creating a smooth, circular movement (called circumduction) that’s essential for healthy, fluid stride mechanics.

Through gentle osteopathic techniques, we can help restore motion, improve circulation, and support proper biomechanics from the ground up.

Don’t ignore the small things — they matter the most💫

March Fur Babies! ☘️🐾

You may have seen some of these sweet faces in my stories—but they’re far too special not to share again 💖

Here are just a few of the wonderful animals who received some extra TLC last month. From local treatments in Niagara to travel days in Erin, ON and Markham, ON, it was a full and rewarding month of care. I also had the opportunity to host back-to-back weekend equine wellness seminars—such an incredible experience!

I’m so grateful for the trust you place in me to care for your animals’ health and well-being 🫶

🚨IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

Due to the continued high demand for appointments and my limited availability, I have been exploring innovative ways to better serve both my human and animal clients simultaneously.

After much consideration, I am officially expanding my practice to include animal-human hybrid patients. This will allow me to treat more individuals efficiently, optimize scheduling, and continue delivering high-quality osteopathic care across species.

This change will help bridge the gap between human and animal biomechanics, improving outcomes while maximizing accessibility for all clients.

…okay okay 😅

APRIL FOOLS 🐴🐶🐱

I had way too much fun making these 🤣

While hybrid patients would definitely make my job more interesting, I’ll be sticking to treating your very real humans, horses, and dogs (separately 😉).

That said — appointments are still filling up quickly, so if you’ve been thinking about booking, now’s your sign!

Thanks for always being such an amazing community 🤍

Osteopathic Equine Wellness Seminar at last weekend!

I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to speak about the benefits of Equine osteopathy for riders and their horses. As always, I went over anatomy 🤓 and how various behaviors could be resulting from pain and discomfort.

I was working with Holly, a high level reining mare, who had some previous trouble with her feet resulting in musculoskeletal compensations in her shoulders and hind end. She definitely felt better after the treatment in the demo!

A huge thank you to who came for the morning to take pictures and videos. I appreciate you so much! She is the best canine osteopath in Markham!
