Getting back to walking after an ACL injury or surgery can be a frustrating part of the rehab process.
That’s where the Anti-Gravity Treadmill can help. By reducing the amount of body weight you’re putting through your legs, you can start working on walking mechanics, strength and confidence while gradually increasing the load.
It can be especially useful early in ACL rehab, when full weight-bearing may still be challenging, or when you’re rebuilding your walking pattern after time away from normal activity.
Less load doesn’t mean less progress. It means having more control over how you progress. 🏃♂️
What can a force plate tell you that the eye can’t?👀
Shak is using force plate testing to analyze a squat and see how someone is actually producing and distributing force throughout the movement.
We can look at squat depth, left-to-right differences, force production, and other movement patterns to identify asymmetries that may not be obvious from simply watching someone squat.
The goal isn’t to make movement look perfect. It’s to collect objective data that helps us better understand performance, track changes over time, and make more informed decisions during rehab and training.
Because sometimes, you need more than what you can see!

Fact or Myth: Slouching is the only reason your neck hurts 🤔
❌ MYTH!
Posture can play a role in neck discomfort, but it’s rarely the whole story. Stress, muscle tension, prolonged sitting, repetitive movements, lack of movement, and your overall daily habits can all contribute.
Instead of chasing “perfect posture,” focus on moving often, changing positions, and building strength and mobility through your neck and upper body.
Neck pain is usually more complex than just “sit up straight!”

Sitting all day shouldn’t leave your knees aching 🪑🦵
Long hours at a desk can affect more than just your back and neck. Prolonged sitting can contribute to tight hips, reduced glute activation, decreased lower-body strength, and increased stress through the knees.
The good news? Small changes to your daily movement, mobility, and strength routine can make a difference.
If your knee pain keeps coming back, our team at Elevate can help identify what’s contributing to it and create a plan to get you moving comfortably again.

Concussion recovery looks different for everyone 🧠
Here’s Hannah working with a patient as part of their concussion rehab — because recovery involves much more than simply waiting for symptoms to go away.
Athletic Therapy can play an important role in helping patients gradually return to movement, exercise, work, school, and sport. Treatment may include addressing neck pain and mobility, balance and coordination, symptom-guided exercise, and progressively building tolerance to activity.
The goal? A safe, individualized return to the things you need — and love — to do. 🙌
Finishing off Ben’s Knee Strengthening Series with the Nordic Curl 🦵🔥
This one is all about building strong hamstrings — helping support the knee, improve control, and build strength that carries over into running, jumping, and sport.
A strong knee needs strong muscles around it, and the Nordic Curl is a great way to challenge them. ⚡️
That’s a wrap on the series! Which exercise was your favourite? 🙌
Testing, measuring, and building back stronger 💪📊
Shak using force plate testing with his client to get a closer look at strength, balance, and how each side is performing.
Objective data like this helps take the guesswork out of rehab — giving us measurable insights to guide treatment, track progress, and make informed decisions along the way.
Because progress isn’t just about how you feel — sometimes the numbers tell the story too. 👏
