Hair is art.
And I think all the fluff surrounding our industry now can sometimes make us forget that.
We’re expected to be artists, photographers, content creators, marketers, educators, business owners and personal brands.
And somewhere in all that noise, it can become surprisingly hard to stay connected to the actual craft.
To the feeling of creating something with your hands.
To getting lost in the hair.
To standing back at the end and thinking, I made that.
I’m grateful for everything this industry has become.
But I never want all the things around the hair to become more important than the hair itself.
Because before the followers, the content, the algorithms and the branding…
we were artists.

Then somewhere along the way, it became a passion… and that passion turned into a career.
Now we get to make a living doing something we genuinely love — creating, learning, meeting amazing people, and helping them feel good when they look in the mirror.
Pretty lucky when you think about it. ❤️
