April really said “main character energy” and I just went with it.

A mix of behind-the-chair days, creating, learning, laughing, and actually making time for life outside of work… which felt really good.

Also feeling extra grateful for finding such an amazing work partner… when the energy matches, everything just works 🤍

Easily my favourite month of 2026 so far… and if this is the vibe, I can’t wait to see what the next few months bring.

What was your fav part of April?

She told me her balayage was from last June by Andrea!!!!
🤯🤯🤯

The colour has grown out so softly, still blended and dimensional in a way that feels natural and intentional. No harsh lines, no obvious grow-out… just that lived-in finish that gets better with time.

Today was simply a refresh. Long layers, soft face framing, a smooth round brush and then tonged into waves. No new colour needed.

This is the kind of result that allows you to go longer between appointments without feeling like you’re overdue. Less maintenance, more flexibility, and a look that still feels elevated.

Andrea creates the kind of lived-in, dimensional colour that holds up over time, and keeping it looking this good comes down to the in-between too… regular-ish haircuts, healthy ends, and treatments to maintain the integrity of the hair as it grows.

It’s very much a both-of-us approach… colour designed to last, and cuts that keep it looking intentional the whole way through.

If you’re looking to space out your colour appointments without sacrificing how your hair looks, book a consult or your next colour with Andrea and we’ll take care of the rest.

It’s not just what you use… it’s how often you wash.

For most people, that sweet spot sits around every 3–5 days, with a little flexibility depending on workouts, styling, and your hair type. Wash too often and you strip the scalp of the oils it needs to stay balanced. Wait too long and you get buildup that weighs the hair down and blocks everything you’re trying to do for it. The goal is that middle ground… not too stripped, not too overloaded. Life happens and routines won’t always be perfect, but keeping your scalp clean, balanced, and healthy is what sets the foundation for beautiful, consistent hair.

We are NOT baking bread here… your hot tools don’t need to be pushing 400+.

Heat protection isn’t just a “nice to have” step, it’s what keeps your hair actually healthy while you style it. Wet hair needs protection because it’s at its most vulnerable while you’re blowdrying. That’s where you’re setting the tone for everything that comes after.

Then dry hair needs it again before hot tools because that’s the highest, most direct heat your hair is going to take. No barrier = you’re literally cooking the inside of the hair.

Keep your tools under 350, protect at both stages, and your hair will look better and last longer.
