Today is National Cancer Wellness Awareness Day. 💗

It’s a day to recognize that cancer care is about so much more than treatment.

It’s about caring for the whole person. Supporting them physically, emotionally, and mentally through one of the most difficult chapters of their life.

This became deeply personal for us last year when Laryssa was diagnosed with breast cancer. As she moved through treatment, we were reminded that small acts of care matter.

Self-care isn’t a luxury during cancer treatment—it can be an important part of healing and reconnecting with yourself.

For the last 8 years, every month, our Nurture Initiative offers one complimentary ORESTA Holistic Facial to a woman currently undergoing cancer treatment who has been nominated by an ORESTA customer who loves her.

Today is the Summer Solstice—the longest day of the year and the official beginning of summer ☀️

For thousands of years, people around the world have marked this turning point in the seasons. A day associated with light, growth, abundance, gratitude, and our connection to the natural world.

This year, we’ve been reflecting on what the Summer Solstice means to each of us.

While people and cultures may celebrate the Summer Solstice in different ways, many of those traditions are rooted in the same values: appreciation, community, renewal, and respect for the world around us.

As we welcome summer, we’re taking a moment to slow down, soak up the extra daylight, and reflect on what we’re grateful for.

Today I turn 62.

I feel grateful, curious, and excited about this next chapter. More than anything, I feel incredibly fortunate to be healthy, doing work I love, and still genuinely looking forward to what comes next.

I’m so grateful for my family, my friends, my clients, and all the wonderful people who have loved me, challenged me, laughed with me, supported me, and occasionally talked me into doing things I never thought I’d do. Every one of you has helped shape who I am today and made this journey far more interesting than anything I could have planned.
