I have spent a lifetime working with skin, and I have always believed that what we put on it matters. Now I can formulate with organic and natural ingredients and personalize products for each person's skin, especially mature and sensitive skin like so many of us have. I am so grateful for everything I learned, and for the tutors and the community who made it possible.
I am not stopping here. I am already halfway through my next course toward my international diploma, and I am looking forward to creating more extensive and improved formulas. If you have ever wondered what your skin is trying to tell you, I would love to hear your story.

Watermelon snow is a fascinating phenomenon found in some mountain ranges, where the snow takes on a pink hue and emits a distinct watermelon-like smell and taste. This unusual occurrence is caused by a species of green algae called Chlamydomonas nivalis, which thrives in cold, high-altitude environments. The algae contain a pigment called astaxanthin, which gives the snow its characteristic pink color. As the algae grow and multiply in the melting snow, they release a sweet, fruity scent that resembles watermelon, which is why the phenomenon is so aptly named. While it may seem like a quirky natural wonder, watermelon snow also plays a role in the ecosystem by affecting snowmelt and local microbial life.
