See you all tomorrow
Running workshop MaxFit Movement Institute
Run Free
Running Elastically + Injury-free
When: Thursdays at 6:30
Length: 12 week program starting September 4th
Where: Meet at Maxfit Movement Institute
What: Run-walk program that will gradually build towards a target of 10km
Cost: Free!
Who this is appropriate for:
People who are newer to running
Those who are getting back into running after an injury
Anyone who is looking for a group of people to run with on a regular basis (for safety, commitment, guidance, community, social or educational purposes)
This program will start off the first day with some education about running technique, followed by a warm-up and then a run-walk that will consist of 1 min run to 1 min walk intervals.
We will increase the running intervals each week to gradually build running endurance.
The total run-walk time will be approximately 30-45 minutes each week.
Each session will start with some short educational tips or presentations, followed by a short warm-up, then a group outdoor run.
Be prepared to run in any weather (unless it's icy) and be prepared for running in the dark (lights, reflective gear, etc) as we progress into the fall.
We would appreciate that you email [email protected] with your interest so that we can get an idea of numbers.
However, we will also welcome anyone that wants to just show up to any of our sessions as well.
We look forward to helping support the community with their running journey.
