Well... it's officially humidatitties season ☀️

As much as I love the sunshine, our skin doesn't always love the heat, humidity, wet swimsuits and sweaty clothes that come with it.

If you've been dealing with irritation, chafing or more ingrown hairs lately, you're definitely not the only one!!

I put together a few simple reminders & tips that can help, along with some of my favourite products that I recommend all Summer long.

Just a friendly reminder that I'll be taking a little summer break from **July 13–20** ☀️
(returning to work Tuesday, July 21)

The week before I leave is already full (thank you 💛), but cancellations do happen.

If you'd like a chance at one of those appointments, hop on the waitlist! When you do, please include as much availability as possible - days, times, and the service you're booking.
I'm talkin' write me a detailed paragraph, even if each day is different for you, let me know those deets! The more flexible and specific you are, the easier it is for me to match you with an opening.

Online booking and the waitlist will remain available while I'm away. I'll respond to messages when I can, but there may be a little delay while I unplug and enjoy some much-needed time off.

Friendly reminder before your next Wax or Sugaring appointment... 😊

If you're using Retinol, AHA's, BHA's or other exfoliating acids, it's important to give them a little break before your appointment - even if you "don't put it near your eyes".

Why? Because I'd much rather remove your hair than accidentally remove your skin 😅

Our skin is our largest organ and products get absorbed and spread EVERYWHERE. Throughout the skin and it gets absorbed internally.

So it's imortant to avoid use a few days prior to your session anytime & always - but epecially before weddings, vacations, concerts, girls' weekends, or any other important summer plans where you'd rather not explain why you have a perfectly rectangle-shaped patch of missing skin.

Little update 💛
I’ve officially settled back into full-time hours after easing my way back post-injury, and I honestly can’t thank you all enough for the patience, kindness & support along the way.

I’m currently working Mon–Thurs and because my evening spots are limited & in high demand - out of respect & appreciation, they are reserved for existing clients only 🫶 New clients are welcome to book prior to 3:30pm.

Grateful for all of you who stuck with me through the slower season — and excited for a summer of smooth skin, sunshine & a little more normalcy again ✨

Some days I catch my reflection in this space and think about how many incredible women have shaped the person looking back.

My momma, my grandmothers, my beautiful friends - strong women who showed me what resilience, kindness, and grace truly look like.

And every day in this industry, I’m surrounded by even more inspiring women. My amazing clients who trust me in this space, share their stories, and remind me constantly how powerful women supporting women can be.

Each year doesn't go without challenges. Injuries, setbacks, and moments that forced me to slow down more than I wanted to. But stepping into 40 has given me a deeper appreciation for strength — the quiet kind that keeps showing up, even when things aren’t easy.

Working in the beauty industry has taught me something important: beauty is so much more than what we see in the mirror. It’s confidence, resilience, connection, and the way women lift each other up.

Today I celebrate the women who shaped me, the women beside me, and the women who inspire me daily.
