The Joint Physiotherapy

We're 1-week in to the Chambers Plumbing & Heating Halloween Scavenger Haunt, and we've loved saying hi to everyone! If you haven't signed up for this FREE city-wide event, it's not too late! Pick up your passport at Specsavers at St. Albert Centre. The last day is October 23rd, and prizes will be awarded on the 24th.

To celebrate the spooky season, we're also giving away free The Joint stickers (designed in-house). Be sure to grab one next time you're at the clinic!

Our team is always looking for creative ways to fight sedentary fatigue and stay active during the workday. Turning a plyo box into a standing desk is just one way to sneak in some daily mobility while getting those chart notes done!

How are you sneaking movement into your workday?

Congratulations to Christine for finally getting her 1/2 marathon time goal of 1:50 at the Melissa's Road Race in Banff! She says "consistency, nutrition, and smart training" (especially after having kids) to keep her body injury free and healthy was the key! 🏃‍♀️🗻

If you have any training questions or want running advice for your next race feel free to reach out to Christine or DM us here at The Joint!

Only a few more weeks to register!

This FREE session, hosted by Candace Mazur at the St. Albert and Sturgeon Primary Care Network, covers what’s normal in the postpartum “fourth trimester," how to care for vaginal or c-section scarring, diastasis recti, urinary leakage, pelvic heaviness, and the “wait, is this normal?” moments. It’s judgment-free and question-friendly.

When: Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at 5:30 p.m at the St. Albert & Sturgeon PCN office in the St. Albert Centre (next to SportChek)
