you have a daughter that is bold in her hair which I love. This beautiful young lady just knows what she wants- and I try very hard to do what she asks. When she was younger it was a raid that I hated doing - or a cut that I haven’t done before. She asks quietly and I complain but do it. When you have long thick hair- it’s going to be really hard to have lift at the roots. You are not doing anything wrong- taking the hair shorter with layers is going to help
