When my client came to see me, her main goals were addressing an uneven border and adding definition to thinner lips. Rather than packing in heavy pigment, our focus was to maximize her natural lip shape.
Notice how in the healed results, her lips still look completely natural, but her bottom lip appears significantly fuller simply from restoring symmetry and defining the border!
My golden rule: I always take a conservative approach during the first session. You can always add more, but you can’t take it away!

July ran us completely ragged, lots of events, and a crazy busy month at the studio so last night’s itinerary was strictly enforced:

1. Feet up with a good book 📖 (I prefer a page turning book).
2. Rob reading his book on his phone 📱
3. Zero movement or noise except the rock of the water lapping 🛥️
4. Oliver acting as the very disappointed lifeguard 🐾

Sometimes the best summer memories aren’t the crazy ones, but the peaceful ones where you just …. breathe. ❤️

WHY ARE HER BROWS SO BOLD IN THE MIDDLE PHOTO!? 😳🔥
Answer: Science! 🧬
When old microblading turns gray/ashy, putting the same shade over it will just make it darker and grayer. I had to custom mix a warm, soft formulation that would match her natural eyebrow color, which is quite dark, adding some clear to dilute the formula ensures that her eyebrows will match the pigment in her skin, but not look “witchy” and keep the application soft so that her skin will not be over-saturated.

It looks super bold on day one, but look at the bottom photo to see how soft, and perfectly balanced they are when healed! We completely re-shaped her frame adding softness and a much better shape without needing months of laser removal first.

Before and healed. A subtle change but much better shape, and ensuring they will gradually fade over time.

Healed. This client wanted a less angular shape, and more fullness (her natural brows are much thinner than they used to be). By keeping the border soft and pixelated we can create fullness without that ‘sharpie marker’ look.

Healed. We wanted to create a fuller brow for her because it adds softness to her face, fills the area in her forehead area and gives her back her brows from long ago.

A lil vid shows the soft borders which are key in a fuller brow shape where there is sparse natural brow hair.

I took one look at her Brows and told her to put her wallet away. 🤷🏼‍♀️ 💰

When this Beauty first walked through my studio doors, she was carrying the work of TWO very well-known Saskatoon artists. Between microblading scars, an unfortunate shape, and an entire rainbow of old pigment – orange, blue, and gray – she was desperate for a fix.

Instead of taking her money for a “corrective” new brow tattoo that wouldn’t last, I gave her the hard truth: removal first.

Fast-forward through two pico, laser sessions, and today was FINALLY the day! 🎉

While a tiny bit of the old shape was stubborn (that’s just the reality of deep micro blading scars!), we worked with her natural Brow structure to craft a gorgeous, fresh shape she absolutely loves.
