Over the last 8 years, so many beautiful friendships, collaborations and business connections have been made through The Well.

We’d love to start sharing some of those stories, but we need your help!

Why does this feel like the end of an era?
I guess in a few at it is.
We’ve been gathering in person for over 8 years in Saskatoon and more recently in Toronto.
We’ve held space for one another.
We’ve cried for each other.
We’ve howled, group hugged, and laughed.
Some of these things will continue with our Directory calls, but in a way I am retiring as I press pause on our monthly circles.
I know this is right,
And I’ve already heard talk from Well Women that a circle may continue.
But for me, it’s a new chapter.

Life is always in flux.
Sometimes the moment you’re in can feel more powerful than the promise of peace later.
I’m not sure where you’re at, but my kids grew 8 years in what felt like 8 seconds and I don’t regret a thing. Every difficult and beautiful moment was imperfectly worth it.
I managed to stay connected to myself in the years of raising babies into teens.
How did I do that?
I consistently asked myself what I needed, wanted, what was a yes and a hell no.
I messed it up, I made a million mistakes, but I knew where and who I was when I made those.
So when I see this pic, I think ‘don’t tell them to enjoy every moment’,
that’s too much pressure.
Instead I say, hold on to yourself.
Hold her tightly, these little people will leave, but you will remain.
Hold onto her.
She’s precious and beautiful and so so much fun.

For me, summer means spending time outside with amazing women !

It’s sooo short and these memories, from summer 2025, are a great reminder to get outside and connect.

Which is why we are having a Summer Potluck and Circle this August!

I already know that the pictures and memories are going to carry me thru those long winter months.
