She came in brunette and casually surprised me with,
“Actually… I think I want to go cowboy copper.”

Ma’am. 😂

The joys of working in a private suite: I don’t have an entire colour room sitting behind me at all times.

So I pulled out every red I had, started mixing, said a little prayer to the hair gods and hoped for the best.

And somehow we created THIS

Except she’s way too deep and delicious to be cowboy copper…
so Cowboy Cola was born 🤎❤️

Do I have the exact formula?
Absolutely not.

Could I recreate this exact colour again?
Also absolutely not. 😂

She is a one-of-one custom colour, bb cakes.

And frankly, I think that makes her even better.

Operation: bring her spice back. 🌶️🧡

She’s a natural ginger, but after having her baby, she felt like her hair had lost some of that warmth and dimension she used to have.

Instead of colouring everything, I added copper foils throughout to bring those little ribbons of ginger back while still working with her natural colour.

The result?

Still her.

Just a little spicier. ✨

And that close-up?? The copper peeking through is everything.
