Women often apologize to me when they are on my table. It’s not because they accidentally bumped me or misunderstood a direction, it’s because they live in a human body. Human bodies have lumps and bumps, they come in all shapes and sizes and they have hair! I promise it’s ok. Your massage therapist is not judging your appearance, they are thinking about things way deeper and how to get you out of pain.

Sleep is one of the biggest indicators in how our bodies are functioning. Without sleep, everything else goes downhill. This message made my day! Reducing/eliminating pain while helping to regulate a nervous system is why I love my job.

It’s just so nice to see the name pop up in the books

It can feel complicated, but the reality is that while medical imaging is incredible in so many situations, it can be misleading. Damage does not equal pain and pain doesn’t equal damage. Keep that in mind when you get some imaging results or when your doctor hesitates to order the tests.

Currently entering a very busy season in my life outside of the office. Availability will be very limited.
