Losing a sibling itself is hard.. but losing a sibling like you was the hardest thing I’ve ever experienced. You weren’t just my little brother; you were a piece of my heart, my birthday twin, and someone I thought I’d have beside me for so many more years. You kept saying “whatever makes my sister happy” and I will continue to live by this, as you watch down over me. There isn’t going to be a single day that goes by where I don’t think about you, miss your voice, or wish I could hear your laugh one more time.

Grief has taught me that love never really leaves; it changes into memories, tears, and quiet moments where I hope somehow you know how deeply you’re still loved. I will carry you with me every single day. In everything I do, a part of it is for you. Until we meet again, I’ll keep your memory alive, speak your name with love, and hold you in my heart forever.
