this was my second year without my dad and man i felt it SO hard.
i like to do a few things the day of and the days leading up to father’s day- i find it feels less clumped and rushed! year 2 of grief has been brutal. missing him is an indescribable pain and emptiness but doing these things made me feel so close to him. i hope he loves that i keep going for him 🥹

i honestly thought i’d be bawling my eyes out picking out this card. it’s like my dad knew i needed a good laugh.
this year for mother’s day and father’s day i decided to get my parents cards and write in them things i wish they had been here for. it felt so therapeutic doing it for my mom and i know it’ll be a bit more emotional for my dad since this is only year 2 but i loved picking something out just for him 💛
