We had a fine dining experience and spent the evening with industry leaders. Had a great time chatting with wound specialists, Dr. Kim LeBlanc - The President of the Canadian Nurses Association, Dr. Acorn - CEO of Nurse Practitioners’ Association of Ontario and the NSWOC CEO - Cathy Harley.

Wound healing occurs in four phases. In normal healing wounds, these phases could take weeks to months. In the presence of infection, poor circulation, lifestyle factors and chronic diseases, wound healing may stall in a particular phase. This is seen in chronic wounds that take years to heal, because they do not proceed successfully through the stages of wound healing.
