In a world where living a healthy life is becoming increasingly difficult, we want products that we can feel comfortable putting on our skin, trust for even the youngest bodies & enjoy using because they work.
'Natural' has become a misleading word in our society. A word that should bring with it a sense of certainty of doing good for your body, has become just the opposite. Coming home with a 'natural' product only to find it filled with parabens, fragrances, phthalates and synthetic chemicals is not natural. Natural: existing in or caused by nature; not made or caused by humankind. With BASK feel comfortable knowing that what is being put on the biggest organ of your body (your skin) is made using truly natural ingredients. NO parabens

NO mineral oils... & the list goes on! At BASK we would never want you putting something on your skin that we wouldn't put on ours. All our products are handmade in Toronto, Canada by Angelica Kada & Beata Skorka. Products should last at least 4 months as long as care is taken to keep them away from moisture and direct sunlight. If products change in scent or appearance it may indicate that they have perished.

Curious to make your own Herbal Blend for a new mom in your life?
All it takes is a trip to your local health food store or herbal dispensary.
This one has an add-on organic garlic bulb that will be blended with water, strained & added to the bath.
Creating blends like this gives me a way to offer support & care for new mamas in my life.
And you can too!
1 part each of:
Calendula
Comfrey
Lavender
Rosemary
Yarrow
1/2 part
Myrrh
Bring water to a boil, add herbs & let it steep covered for 30min. Strain & add to bath.
Enjoy a relaxing & healing bath!

Post-Partum Pearl - Utilizing the benefits of herbs in this anti-inflammatory, astringent (tightening), antimicrobial blend to speed up the recovery of a sore and delicate area of a mother post vaginal birth. Use the bath for episiotomy tears, perineal trauma, hemorrhoids or just to relax & heal. Im preparing this blend in mamas home after baby no.2 to help her relax & heal. I put in about 1oz each of: calendula (marigold), lavender, rosemary, yarrow per batch. Boiled these herbs covered for 30min, strained and put them in a bath. I then blended 6 peeled garlic cloves with one cup of water in a blender on high. Once a milky liquid appeared I strained the garlic water and added the one cup to the bath along with 1 cup of sea salt. Additional herbs can be utilized such as *comfrey, myrrh, goldenseal. *Speak to your local Naturopathic Doctor before utilizing comfrey or for more individualized information for your own post-partum experience. Do not use garlic in a squeeze bottle or as a compress, only for bath. Moms who are post caesarean should not use this, but can speak to an ND for personalized treatments. Happy healing!

Pregnancy & herbs A blending of my worlds: BASK & Naturopathic Medicine When I'm not creating natural body care products, I'm working with patients, such as moms-to-be, as a Naturopathic Doctor. Excited about this Naturopathic 'Everything you need to get through ' care package + that I prepared for a special mom-to-be in my life.
