As we’ve worked on reducing the raised bumps and calming inflammation, the affected area has become much easier to properly access and cleanse.

At this stage, I’m able to focus more closely on removing excess oil, dead skin, debris and buildup sitting around the follicular openings. This is important because ongoing buildup and irritation can contribute to continued inflammation in an already compromised area.

The goal is to keep reducing inflammation, minimize further follicular trauma and create the healthiest environment possible for any follicles that are still viable.
