At Toronto Beauty Room, Korean lash lifts are one of our specialties and with the volume of clients we see weekly, maintaining high standards is non-negotiable.

High volume should never mean lowered standards. If anything, it pushes us to be even more intentional with the quality we provide

💡 It’s always good to replace your shields especially the shields and rods after several uses, why? ⬇️

1. Loss of shape and structure: over time, shields and rods can warp, stretch, or lose their original curve from repeated sanitizing and use.

2. Product buildup: adhesive and solution(s) residue can build up in tiny pores or surface textures, even after cleaning

3. Hygiene and sanitation: repeated exposure to the eye area makes proper sanitation extremely important. Older shields can develop microscopic wear and tear that may trap bacteria or debris. This is why we are constantly replacing our shields or have double sets on deck

4. Reduced adhesion: as shields age, they may not stick to the eyelid as securely making application for step 2 more difficult and affecting precision

5. Material breakdown: silicone and jelly materials naturally degrade over time from disinfectants, heat, and chemical exposure, becoming less reliable and less comfortable
