Our founder Meaghan Beames is taking the Volvo Safety Stage at The Baby Show! ποΈ
Join her Saturday, October 3 at 3:00 PM to learn how craniosacral therapy supports babies through feeding challenges, birth recovery, and beyond.
Meaghan is an RMT and CST practitioner who has worked with more than 1000 babies, and she does not sugarcoat it: she'll tell you what to look for, when to act, and why "wait and see" isn't always the answer.

You're doing tummy time every single day. So why isn't that flat spot going away?
Tummy time builds strength, but it doesn't explain why your baby keeps turning their head the same direction. That preference usually comes from tension in the neck, and it drives both the flat spot and torticollis.
Our pediatric Occupational Therapist Patty looks at the whole movement pattern, not just the position. Bodywork can reach tension tummy time alone cannot, no matter your baby's age.

Your baby seems more unsettled the evening after their CST session than they were before it walked in the door.
Releasing tension the body has held for weeks or months can bring up a wave of processing first, extra crying, more clinginess, a rougher night's sleep before things settle
This isn't a step backward. It's often a sign the nervous system is finally releasing what it's been holding onto.
Your calm presence afterward, feeding, holding, a familiar routine, helps your baby's system settle into the change.

Your baby just turned 9 months old and still isn't crawling.
Crawling takes core strength, shoulder stability, and coordination between both sides of the body, skills that build gradually and don't always show up on the same timeline for every baby. Some babies need more support to organize these movements than others.
Patty leads MyBaby In Motion, a small group workshop where babies practice these exact skills alongside guided activities for parents to continue at home.
Spots are limited. Book through the link in our bio.

Vacuum. Forceps. C-section. Rapid labor. Each one moves through your baby's body in a different way.
These aren't complications to fear, they're physical forces your baby's body experienced and adapted to. A vacuum creates pressure on the skull.
Forceps press on the jaw and sides of the head. A fast labor means less time to adjust gradually.
All of these can make feeding difficult for your baby.
Craniosacral therapy works with whatever tension patterns your baby's birth created.

The way your baby latches at three weeks old can show up again at eighteen months as a toddler who won't touch anything with texture.
It sounds like a stretch until you understand the mechanics. Nursing and later eating both depend on the tongue, jaw, and mouth working together in specific ways. When a tongue can't cup properly or a jaw tires quickly at the breast or bottle, that same limitation often carries forward.
Our feeding and oral motor specialist works with babies from the first feed through the transition to solids, watching for these patterns early.
