š¤ Your breast milk doesnāt simply ācome in.ā It transitions, adapts, and changes.
In the 5 days, your body produces colostrum.. known as āLIQUID GOLDāšÆ. It comes in small amounts, but it is concentrated with protein, antibodies, and immune factors designed for your newborn. (Natures vaccineš)
Then transitional milk begins. Volume increases, composition shifts, and eventually mature milk takes over.
And even mature milk is never completely static.
Breast milk can change across the day, throughout a feed, and as your baby grows. Fat concentration rises as the breast empties, and the immune components in human milk continue supporting your baby long after those first golden drops.
Breastfeeding is nourishment, hydration, immune protection, regulation, and connection between two bodies. š¤
And none of this needs to become about shaming mothers who use formula.
Some babies receive breast milk.
Some receive donor milk.
Some receive formula.
Some receive a combination.
Mothers deserve support, not judgment.
But supporting every feeding journey does not mean we have to minimize how extraordinary human milk truly is.
Your body built your baby.
And after birth, it continues responding, adapting, and nourishing in ways we are still learning about.
That deserves to be understood. ā¤ļø
šSAVE this for postpartum + SEND it to an expecting mama who needs to know how incredible her body
Birth has become a business in a system that often rewards efficiency, predictability and intervention.
That does not mean hospitals are the enemy. It means women deserve to understand that the system was not built solely around protecting physiological birth, and that every option, risk and alternative may not always be presented with equal weight.
Godās design is not flawed.
Your body is not something that automatically needs to be managed, rushed or rescued.
Ask questions. Learn your options. Understand informed consent. Trust God, trust your body and make decisions from knowledge, not fear. š¤

There is something happening to birth that I donāt think we are taking seriously enough. š¤
I am not talking about true medical emergencies. Thank God medicine exists for those moments. šš¼
I am talking about what happens when intervention stops feeling exceptional and starts feeling like the natural conclusion of pregnancy.
When a woman reaches 40 weeks and suddenly the clock gets louder.
āYour baby might be big.ā
āYour cervix isnāt doing anything.ā
āWe donāt want you going too long.ā
āLetās book the induction.ā
And sometimes, nothing is actually wrong.
When fear enters the room before pathology does, we need to ask what that is doing to women.
Because birth doesnāt only produce babies.
Birth produces mothers. šæ
And if a woman repeatedly hears that her body cannot be trusted, that waiting is dangerous, that her baby may be too big and that somebody else knows when her baby should arriveā¦
eventually, what does she learn?
My body is dangerous unless someone manages it.
As a woman of faith, that sits deeply with me.
I believe God created the female body with profound intelligence. Pregnancy is not a design flaw. Labour is not a malfunction. An estimated due date is not an expiration date.
Does physiology sometimes need help? Absolutely.
That is why medicine matters.
But medicine being lifesaving when something is wrong does not mean we should stop respecting physiology when everything is right.
Medicine deserves enormous respect.
And so does the body God created. š¤
I donāt want women afraid of hospitals, inductions or C-sections.
I want women to stop being afraid of their own bodies.
Ask why.
Ask what the actual risk is.
Ask what happens if you wait.
Ask what your alternatives are.
That isnāt being difficult.
That is informed consent.
Maybe itās time we stopped asking why women question the systemā¦
and started asking why questioning it became so uncomfortable. šæ

⨠Every time I hold a baby, Iām reminded that we are entrusted with something truly sacred.
They arrive knowing nothing but warmth, touch, love, and the sound of the heart that carried them for months. They donāt need perfection. They need presence. They need to be welcomed with gentleness, protected with courage, and loved without condition.
The way we care for mothers and babies says everything about the kind of society weāre creating. Birth isnāt just about bringing a baby into the worldāitās about how we choose to receive the newest member of our human family.
May we never lose sight of the miracle resting in our arms. š¤šæ

ā¤ļø Birth is one of the only moments in life where everyone seems to believe they deserve an opinion.
Who gets to be in the room.
What decisions you should make.
What you should tolerate.
What you should ignore.
How you should feel.
But hereās the truthā¦
Your nervous system is building your babyās first experience of the world.
Every conversation.
Every interruption.
Every unnecessary fear.
Every person who brings chaos instead of peace.
It matters.
Birth is not a performance for other people.
It is not a family event.
It is not a place for unresolved trauma, unsolicited advice, or someone elseās need to feel important.
It is sacred.
The people you invite into your birth should make you feel safer, softer, calmer and more confident in your own body.
If someoneās presence makes you second guess yourself, raises your stress, or pulls you out of your intuitionā¦
They do not belong there.
Informed consent isnāt just about medical procedures.
Itās about protecting the environment your baby is born into.
Because the safest birth isnāt created by having the most people in the room.
Itās created when a woman feels deeply respected, deeply protected, and deeply free.
That is where physiology thrives. ā¤ļø
⨠If youāre preparing for birth and want to understand informed consent, physiological birth, your babyās instincts, and how to create a truly supportive birth environment, Iād love to walk alongside you.
šConsultations available in person and virtually.

Pregnancy has a way of revealing what no amount of planning ever could. š
It asks you to slow down.
To listen.
To trust.
To meet yourself in places youāve never had to visit before.
For so long weāve been taught that the answer is to do more. More books. More appointments. More tracking. More perfection.
But pregnancy isnāt asking you to become perfect.
Itās inviting you into relationship.
Relationship with your body.
Relationship with your baby.
Relationship with your intuition.
Relationship with God.
Relationship with the generations of women who came before you.
You can be deeply informed and still feel afraid.
You can prepare beautifully and still be humbled.
You can be incredibly strong and still need support.
None of that means youāre failing.
It means youāre becoming a mother. ā¤ļø
The transformation of pregnancy isnāt measured by how well you perform. Itās measured by how deeply you learn to trust, surrender, and grow through the process.
This is why I donāt simply teach birth.
I help women understand the physiology of birth, the wisdom of the newborn, the postpartum journey, and how to build confidence in the incredible body God designed.
Because birth isnāt just about bringing a baby into the world.
Itās about bringing a mother into the world, too. šæ
If youāre looking for birth education, postpartum guidance, or someone to walk alongside you with evidence, experience, and deep respect for physiological birth, Iād be honoured to support your journey.

ā¤ļøThere is something so sacred about finding a woman who feels like home.
Not just someone to laugh with, but someone who celebrates your victories, holds you through your hardest seasons, reminds you who you are when youāve forgotten, and isnāt afraid to tell you the truthāwith love. šæ
In a world that often teaches women to compare, compete, or keep their guard up, Iāve learned that genuine sisterhood is one of Godās greatest gifts. āØ
The women who walk beside us become part of our story. Through business, healing, faith, heartbreak, adventure, pregnancy, motherhood, and every season in between, they witness the versions of us that few people ever get to see. š¤
Friendships like this arenāt built overnight. Theyāre built through trust, honesty, vulnerability, showing up, and choosing each other over and over again.
Iām endlessly grateful for a friendship that feels more like family. A sister by choice. š«¶
As someone who walks alongside women through pregnancy and birth, this has reminded me of something so important: women were never meant to do life alone.
Whether weāre preparing for birth, raising babies, building businesses, or simply navigating life, we all need women who make us feel seen, safe, and deeply supported.
Hereās to the friendships that become family. š¤

Some moments stay with you forever. ā¤ļø
A beautiful baby boy, born gently into the loving arms of his mother.
One of my favourite parts of this photo is watching their sweet girl quietly resting her head on the birth pool, as if she knew something extraordinary was unfolding. Animals have an incredible way of sensing birth, offering a calm presence that reminds us how instinctive this journey truly is. š¾
Itās so rare to capture a photograph like this.
When you look closely, you donāt just see a baby being born. You see every person the mother intentionally invited into her sacred birth space. Each woman is completely present, attentive, and moving with quiet purpose. No one is trying to be the centre of attention.
Every action is rooted in respect, integrity, and love for both mother and baby.
Birth is more than a physical event. It is the arrival of a new soul into the world. To witness that moment with reverence is one of lifeās greatest privileges.
Congratulations on your beautiful baby boy. May God continue to bless and protect your family as you begin this new chapter together. š¤āØ

The first 24 hours arenāt just another dayā¦
Theyāre the beginning of a lifetime.
Our culture often rushes this sacred window. Visitors arrive. Photos are taken. Plans are made. But your baby isnāt asking for any of that.
They are asking for you. š¤
These first hours are filled with incredible physiological transitions.
šæ Their lungs take their first breaths.
š¤ Their heart and circulation adapt to life outside the womb.
š¦ Their microbiome begins to develop.
š„ Colostrum delivers antibodies and immune protection.
š”ļø Your chest regulates their temperature better than any warmer.
š«¶ Skin-to-skin helps regulate breathing, blood sugar, heart rate, and nervous system function.
One of the most overlooked transitions is the umbilical cord.
š± Keeping the cord intact until it has finished transferring bloodā¦and for many families, waiting at least 2 hours or until after the placenta is born allows your baby to continue receiving placental blood rich in iron, immune cells, stem cells, and oxygenated blood while they make the transition to breathing independently. This natural process supports a gentle physiological transition into life outside the womb.
š Every cuddle, every smell, every heartbeat tells your baby,
āYouāre safe.ā
Your newborn doesnāt need stimulation.
They need regulation.
They donāt need a schedule.
They need connection.
They donāt need to be passed from person to person.
They need to learn the sound of your heartbeat, the smell of your skin, and the comfort of your arms.
Birth isnāt the finish line.
Itās the beginning of one of the most important biological relationships your baby will ever have.
Protect this time.
Slow down.
Turn off the noise.
Your baby will never have another first day of life. āØš¤
