Elizabeth Grant Skin Care continues to evolve, but one thing remains the same; every skin care product includes powerful Torricelumn™, a proprietary and exclusive anti-aging compound– a blend of vitamins, proteins, botanicals, and antioxidants that penetrate deep into the skin helping to restore skin’s essential moisture, stimulate the look of collagen and elastin production and help restore the appearance of younger-looking skin. Elizabeth Grant started her multi-million dollar beauty empire in the UK in the 1940’s. At the time, Elizabeth was working as a make-up artist at Elstree Studios in London. She worked on many famous faces including Vivian Leigh, Sean Connery, Robert Taylor, and Noel Coward. Soon many of Elizabeth’s clients were begging for her Skin Care secrets. Elizabeth realized she had a miracle ingredient. She refined her formulation and called it Torricelumn™. In 1948, at a time when it was very unusual for women to start their own business, Elizabeth founded her Skin Care company. Her revolutionary products debuted at select luxury retailers such as Selfridges in London. Today
Elizabeth Grant Skin Care has become a family affair. In 1995 Elizabeth’s Daughter-In-Law, Marion Witz joined the company as President and moved the growing cosmetic company to Toronto, Canada. She has grown the company from a home-based business to an international success, and has been honored with Profit Magazine’s W100 Award for Canada’s Top Women Entrepreneurs several years in a row. Margot Grant Witz, Elizabeth’s Granddaughter joined the company in 2003 and has worked with her Mother and Grandmother to continue developing and expanding Elizabeth Grant Skin Care to appeal to a wider audience. She evolved the logo from the classic cursive EG and initiated a redesign of the packaging. She works very closely with product development and has injected the brand with a new customer base and has resulted in a product that is often heralded as a ‘beauty favourite by top editors around the world.

"Skincare itself is a ritual."
Margot said this in her recent interview with STYLE Canada, and it's stuck with us since. After travelling the world for this brand, what she brought home wasn't one specific routine or product. It was a reminder that the few minutes you spend on your skin, morning or night, can be so much more than a cream or a serum. It can be a small way of checking in with yourself and saying, I matter too.

Margot just sat down with STYLE Canada, and when they asked her what she'd take if she could only ever use three products again, she couldn't actually pick three. Neither could we, honestly.
She talks about the advice her grandmother gave her that had "nothing or everything" to do with skincare, what travelling the world for this brand taught her about beauty rituals, and the biggest lesson she'd hand back to her eighteen-year-old self.
